Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of the Saath mobile application and website, operated by Saath Services. By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Saath.

1. Who may use Saath

You may use Saath only if you:

are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to marry under the laws that apply to you;
are genuinely seeking marriage;
provide truthful information about yourself; and
have not previously been removed from Saath.

One person may hold one account. Accounts may not be transferred or shared.

2. Your profile and conduct

You agree not to:

impersonate anyone, or post photographs that are not of you;
misstate your age, marital status or other material details;
harass, abuse, threaten or defraud other members;
post obscene, unlawful or offensive content;
solicit money, donations or investments from other members;
use Saath for advertising, recruitment or any commercial purpose;
collect, copy or redistribute other members’ information or photographs; or
attempt to access, disrupt or reverse-engineer our systems.

We may suspend or remove any account that breaches these terms, without refund where the breach is serious.

3. Safety — please read

Saath verifies mobile numbers and checks that profile photographs contain a human face. These measures reduce fake profiles but they are not a background check. We do not verify identity documents, marital status, income, education or criminal history unless expressly stated. Please exercise your own judgement, involve your family, meet first in public places, and never send money to anyone you meet on Saath.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are sold and processed through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
You manage or cancel a subscription in the Google Play Store, not in Saath.
Refunds are governed by Google Play’s refund policy. We may issue discretionary refunds but are not obliged to.
Paying for a plan gives access to features. It does not guarantee matches, responses or marriage.

5. Content you post

You keep ownership of your photographs and profile content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, resize and display that content for the purpose of operating Saath. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups for a limited period.

6. Our role

Saath is a platform that introduces members to one another. We are not a party to any relationship, agreement or marriage arising from an introduction, we do not act as a marriage broker, and we make no promise about the conduct, character or suitability of any member. To the extent permitted by law, Saath is provided “as is” and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding it.

7. Ending your account

You may delete your account at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is fraudulent, or endangers other members.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, where the change is significant, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Saath after a change means you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
